Just a word from the Director…………. Farmers Appreciation Picnic…………The event was a huge success.  We want to first thank all the businesses and individuals who helped or donated to the event.  The evening was started off by serving nearly 450 people.  There was food, music, watermelon, prizes, and 4-H awards presentations.  Local and State politicians and candidates spoke as well. We appreciate all the community support.  Farming is a large part of our community and we appreciate all they do.

Octoberfest………….The Board of Director’s for the chamber voted to not have Octoberfest this year.  Please do not be too disappointed. I believe we will just be taking off this one year and have it back again next year.  We are looking into some new ideas that might make the event bigger than before.

Stanbury Uniforms………..The free performance at Burlington Field on July 16th by The Santa Clara Vanguard, six-time Drum Corps Champion, sponsored by Stanbury Uniforms was unbelievable.  According to numerous people, they were a sight to see.  It was a wonderful evening and everyone who attended had a great time.  Quote From Stanbury Uniforms and General Manager Steve Roberts- "Thank you to the community of Brookfield for coming out and supporting Stanbury Uniforms and the Santa Clara Vanguard!!!  We had a great crowd and the community support was overwhelming.  The corps works very hard and it definitely showed in their performance and we are proud to bring Professional Drum Corps to Brookfield.
