Amanda Wilson, age 33, of Brookfield, died Saturday, August 4th, 2012 at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
“Be not afraid, I go before you always, come follow ME, and I shall give you rest!” This is what God did on Saturday morning, August 4th. He reached out his hand to Amanda Michelle Wilson and took her home to rest.
“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each others dreams, we can be together all the time.” (Winnie the Pooh)
On November 24th 2001 Amanda married her best friend Michael Wilson. Their commitment was “til death do us part” and Michael cherished those vows.
Amanda’s biggest fear was having to tell her children goodbye. Winnie the Pooh couldn’t have said it better for her: “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together…. Keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever!”
Goodbyes are always hard. Why does it only take a minute to say hello and forever to say Goodbye?
