Everett W. Lentz, 95, Keytesville, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Pioneer Health Care Center, Marceline.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Summerville Funeral Home, Salisbury. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Locke Cemetery.

Everett was born October 27, 1916, in Marceline, son of John Cleveland and Clara Frances (Graves) Lentz. He married Margaret McGown on June 16, 1936. She preceded him in death June 10, 2011.
Everett was a 1936 graduate of Marceline High School. He was a farmer and worked on aircraft maintenance for a company in California during World War II. He was a member of Keytesville First Baptist Church serving as trustee for many years. He was also a member of Warren Masonic Lodge #74 AF & AM.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Helen and Larry Peters, Keytesville, and Sheila Mills, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mary Alice Newman, Moberly; four grandchildren, Jeff and Kris Peters, and Barbara and Travis Erickson, Keytesville, Justin Mills, Dallas, Texas, and Morgen Mills, Denver, Colo.; seven great-grandchildren, Christoper and Terri Peters, Renick, Heather and Doug Kruessel, Salisbury, Lacey Schachtele, Keytesville, Blake Erickson, Chillicothe, Jamie Erickson, Keytesville, and Reagan Mills, Dallas, Texas; and seven great-great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, Haley and Kylie Peters, Emit and Landon Schachtele, and Cooper Kruessel.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, William “Bill” Lentz.
