Sharon Kay White, 64, Marceline, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marcelin,e with Rev. Mike White officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Marceline.
Memorials may be made to the Marceline R-5 or Brookfield R-3 Schools for the Athletic Clubs may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Mo. 64658.
Sharon was born January 15, 1948, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, daughter of Norman P. and Helen (Davis) Kuhl, Sr. She married Robert S. White, Sr. on March 16, 1968, in Portsmouth, NH.
Sharon had worked at Herff Jones Publishing, Marceline, retiring as Lead for Image Prep. She was a Marceline resident most of her life.
Survivors include her father, Norman Kuhl, Sr. and wife, Claudia, Ridgedale; mother, Helen Hensley, Nevada; husband, Robert S. White, Sr., of the home in Marceline; son, Steve and wife, Darcy White, Raytown; daughter, Nicole White, and fiancé, Dan Diercks, Brookfield; four grandchildren, Trevor Allard White, Katelyn, Brett, and Ruby White; four brothers, Norman Paul Kuhl, Jr., Oak Grove, Frank Kuhl, Nevada, Dennis Kuhl, Halfway, and Davin Kuhl, Parsons, Kan.; two sisters, Karen Hauff, Nevada, and Jeanne Watson, Miller; five nieces; five nephew; 17 great nieces and nephews; nine great-great nieces and nephews;step-sister, Norma Gandy; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Beulah Kuhl, and J.R. and Laura Davis, and one uncle, Richard Harley Davis; step-father, Dude Hensley; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Kuhl; and a brother-in-law, Car Hauff.
