Oscar Windsor, 85, Sumner, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Life Care Center of Brookfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Sumner United Methodist Church with Rev. Martha Truax and Rev. Gail Brown officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 that evening. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Sumner.

Oscar Vernon was born April 1, 1927, in Sumner, son of John LeRoy and Alta Ann (Gash) Windsor.
Mr. Windsor had mowed lawns and had worked as a farm hand in the Sumner area.
Survivors include one sister, Velma Douglas, Brookfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Velma Windsor, Brookfield; several nieces, and nephews; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Evelyn Wanamaker and Caddie Ann Windsor; and six brothers, John, charley, Claude, Daniel, Norman and J.W. Windsor.
