This week, the Tigers are set to tangle with the Schuyler County Rams.

After a successful week one shutout win on the road at Knox County, the Marceline Tigers head back home to the friendly confines of Chester Ray Stadium for a non-conference battle against the Schuyler County Rams.
"Schuyler County has a lot of speed," said Head Coach Paul Thomas. "They run out of the Pro-I formation."
The Rams will utilize a 4-4 defense against Marceline, and Coach Thomas reports that the team is doing well in practice.
After a good first game, the Tigers are still healthy, and Coach Thomas seeks all of his players to continue to step up as the season goes along.
Schuyler is in their first season under Head Coach Nick Woodrick, and are looking to improve off of last season's 4-6 record (4-3 in the Tri-Rivers Conference). Schuyler opened with a 27-0 shutout win over Paris, with 20 of those points coming in the second half.
