Wilma Alexander, 91, Brookfield, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at University Hospital, Columbia.
Funeral services were held today, Oct. 1, 2012, at Freedom Baptist Church, Brookfield, with Rev. Ron Adrian officiating. Visitation was held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, near Bucklin.

Wilma Jean was born September 10, 1931, in Bucklin, daughter of Harry and Melinda (Carriker) McGrew. She married Roy Still. Then on June 131, 1968, she married Eldon Alexander. He preceded her in death February 6, 1986.
Wilma worked with her husband, Eldon, at Alexander Studio for several years. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, Brookfield and the Red Hat Society, Brookfield. She was active in the Linn Countyt Historical Museum at The Tillman House, Brookfield.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Donald Ray and Reva McGrew, Dixon, Ky.; nieces, Deborah and husband, Tyler Thornburg, Fairview, Tenn., Susan Cole, Rapid City, S.D., Patricia and husband, William Marshall, Crestwood, Tenn., Tammy and husband, Keith Rice, Corydon, Ky., Durene and husband, Arnold Winstead, Dixon, Ky., and Terri Brown, Indianapolis, Ind.; nephews, Mark and wife, Paula Vroom, Burkburnett, Texas, Larry and wife, Carol McGrew, Searcy, Ark., and Teddy and wife, Jeannie Bunton, Dixon, Kay.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Marilyn Vroom Thompson.
