Larry Kimble, 70, Brookfield, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Rhodes Funeral Home with Rev. Mike White officiating. Visitation began at 1 p.m. today, Oct. 3, 2012, at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. An Elks Session of Sorrow will be held 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Larry Lee was born October 22, 1941, in Macomb, Ill., son of Marvin Eugene and Mary Elizabeth (Warner) Kimble. November 24, 1968, he married Linda Sue Hitchcock in Atlantic, Iowa.
He graduated in 1959 from Brookfield High School. He served as an MP with the United States Air Force, and was a member of Brookfield Fraternal Order of Elks, Brookfield Eagles Lodge, Ararat Shrine Club, and Trinity United Methodist Chcurch, Brookfield. He was retired from Pershing Memorial Hospital after 32 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Kimble, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Katrina Kimble, Columbia; one daughter, Kelly Sue Kimble, Kansas City; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Warner, Kansas City; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Hitchcock, Green Bay, Wisc.; a nephew, George Scott Paul, Oshkosh, Wisc.; a niece, Ann Evangeline Paul, Astoria, N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Noah and Owen Kimble, Columbia.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, his step-father, Theodore Warner, and his step-mother, Betty Kimble.
