  • Maxine Ruth (Jones) Jobson, 91, Bucklin, died  Sunday, October 7, 2012, at her home.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the United Church of New Cambria with Rev. Mary Ellen Waychoff officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be in the New Cambria Cemetery.

    Maxine was born on October 28, 1920, in New Cambria, daughter of Andrew T. and Jennie (Powell) Jones.  On August 30, 1941, she was married to George Earl Jobson in New Cambria.  He preceded her in death on May 12, 1981.
    She was a lifelong member of the United Church of New Cambria, as well as a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. Shewas retired from the Walsworth Publishing Company.
    Survivors include her children, Karen (Larry) Wahl, Liberty, Robert (Wilma) Jobson, Bucklin, Kathryn (Edward) Barker, Pleasant Valley, Lois (Jim) McCollum, Marceline, and William (Marie) Jobson, Bucklin; 14 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, (two on the way); nine step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, (one on the way); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles Eldon Jobson; great-granddaughter, Emma Katherine Jobson; and two sisters, Martha Hill and Helen Bellamy.
