Obituary: James Edward McKinney

James Edward McKinney, formerly of Brookfield, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Hospice House of Kansas City.

Jim was creamated and a service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice and Community Christian Church of Kansas City.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Ginny); daughter, Molly; sons, Clay, Chris, Shawn (Rita); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; J.R. and Wilma; one son, Scott; and his brother, Mark.
