Dennis Eugene Cole, 66, Bucklin, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Delaney Funeral Home, Bucklin, with Lee Riley, Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Oct. 29, 2012, at the funeral home in Bucklin. Burial with military honors provided by the Bucklin Green Hills American Legion Post #57 in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville. All Harley Riders are welcome to join procession to Jacksonville.
Memorials may be made Linn County Humane Society and these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 41 Locust, Bucklin, Mo 64631.
Dennis was born July 1, 1946, in St. Louis, son of Eugene G. and Virginia Dee (Adams) Cole.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a retired Boilermaker. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Local # 83 of Kansas City, currently served on the Bucklin City Council, rode with the Patriot Guard Riders, and was a Bucklin resident since 1980.
Survivors include his son, Mark Cole, Bucklin; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Riley, Columbia, and Stephanie Lynn Cole, Louisville, Ky.; and two grandchildren, Caleb Ross Riley and Collin Lee Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
