Thelma Louise Minich, 89, Marceline, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at her daughters home in Montrose, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Grady Todd officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the funeral home in Marceline. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline.
Memorials may be made to Marceline First Christian Church or Iowa Hospice may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Mo. 64658.
Thelma was born July 31, 1923, in Brookfield, daughter of Roy Edward and Florence (Sager) Veal. She married George Arthur Minich on May 17, 1947, in Troy, Kan. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Thelma had worked as a secretary for Southwestern Bell and at the Daily News-Bulletin. She was a member of the Marceline First Christian Church, was a Girl Scout Leader, and had lived in Marceline most of her life.
Survivors include one son, Brent and wife, Jennifer Minich, Montreal; one daughter, Terri and husband, Bob Reid, Montrose, Iowas; one sister, Dorothy Collett, Montrose, Iowas; and four grandchildren, Darcie Reid, Shanna Reid, Jessica Weaver and husband, Jeff, and Brenna Minich and fiancé ,Aaron Toft.
She was aslo preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Shelly.
