Miss Shirley Guest, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Guest, Independence, and former Marceline residents, and Mr. Stanley E. Whiting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Whiting, Independence, were married Sunday afternoon, Nov. 22, at St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Father Thomas J. McCartan performed the double-ring ceremony.
