Bicycling and Walking Around

My bicycle is our second car. I love to bicycle in all weather, for all distances, and on all routes. Bicycling has brought so much joy to my life, and I want to share it with anyone who is interested. I will use my soapbox to tell you about the joys, the freedom, the benefits, and, yes, the challenges of bicycling and walking for transportation.

NBC's Chicago Fire is giving Taylor Kinney's character, Kelly Severide, a dad in the new year. Dashing Everwood patriarch Treat Williams will appear in multiple episodes as Benny Severide beginning in January.

Turns out the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Benny is described a tough guy who also used to work as a fireman. Kelly and Benny have had an on/off again relationship over the years, but it's never too late for a new bond to form. Or is it?

In addition to Everwood, Williams, 61, has appeared on Brothers & Sisters, Heartland, White Collar and Against the Wall.
