  • Obituary: Sharon Deanna Wilhoit

  • Sharon Deanna Wilhoit, 56, of Dalton, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at St. Peter’s, MO. She was born March 30, 1956 at Moberly, the daughter of Lowell and Betty (Wahlbrink) Wilhoit. Sharon was a lifelong resident of the Dalton area. Her faith was in the teachings of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible.

  • Sharon Deanna Wilhoit, 56, of Dalton, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at St. Peter’s, MO.  She was born March 30, 1956 at Moberly, the daughter of Lowell and Betty (Wahlbrink) Wilhoit.  Sharon was a lifelong resident of the Dalton area.  Her faith was in the teachings of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible.
    Miss Wilhoit graduated from Moberly Nursing School in 1976.  She was employed by Dr. Galvez, general practitioner, at Marceline, for 17 years.  In 1998, she began working at Heartland Medical Center, Moberly, as a cardiology nurse for Dr. Ahmed Habib, until the present time.  She was very dedicated to her nursing career.  She also loved children and dearly loved her nieces and nephews.
    Sharon is survived by her mother and father Lowell and Betty Wilhoit of Dalton; a sister Laurinda Littleton and husband Jerry of Keytesville; a brother Galen Wilhoit and wife Heidi of Ashland; two nephews Kendall Littleton and Brady Wilhoit; two nieces Jerra Alumbaugh and husband Landon, and Karenna Wilhoit; and two great nephews Rhys and Rhylen Alumbaugh and other relatives and a host of friends.
    Visitation is 5-8 p.m., today, December 17, at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Services are Tuesday, December 18th at 10:30 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with burial in the Dalton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Dalton Cemetery Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
