Bessie Frances Liebhart, 88, Bucklin, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Richard Casady officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Jan. 2, 2013, at the funeral home in Marceline. Burial will be in the New Boston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russ Liebhart, Bryan Liebhart, Scott Liebhart, Chad Sayre, Matthew Sevier, Jason Wood, Mark Speichinger, and Jeff McLin. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Cupp, Marty Cupp, Roger Liebhart, and Wendel Liebhart.
Memorials to New Boston Cemetery may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Mo. 64658.
Bessie was born September 7, 1924, in North Salem, daughter of Albert and Nettie (Denny) Lambert. She married Russell Liebhart on March 5, 1944, in Brookfield.
Bessie was a homemaker, a member of the New Boston Christian Church and an area resident all her life.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Liebhart, of the home in Bucklin; one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Jackie Liebhart, Bucklin; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Jimmy Molloy, Bucklin, Beverly and Joe Cupp, Bucklin, and Judy and Gene Wood, LaPlata; one brother, Nolan Lambert, Broken Arrow, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Norlan and Nile Lambert; two sisters, Dorothy Vaughn and Hazel Watkins; and great grandson Zach Cupp.
