Just over one minute into the second frame, a basket by Damon Porter gave BMC the lead for the first time in the game.
“We missed some shots early,” said Porter. “But we got it together, hit some three-pointers, some and-one’s, and it feels good to pull out a win.”
This lead would grow to nine points, thanks to a 12-0 run. After this. The teams would score evenly until the halftime break. At the half, the Raiders led 39-30.
