  • Dear Antonio of 2035,<>
As I sit here at my computer, I am reminded of how I got to this point.  Many people gave of their time and talent encouraging me along.  And now 25 years later, I want to give a little back to those special people.  I am writing a biography of my life including all my failures and successes.  Each success came with hard work, but worth every effort.  Today I am speaking to a group interested in the world of autism.  It will be the first time speaking in front of a group, and I must admit I am a little nervous.  Today when I left my home, I scratched my dog’s head for luck and drove here with knots in my stomach.  My parents and sister and her family will be there to support me.  I want to remember to thank all of them for never giving up on me.  When I finish my biography I will have completed my third book.  My family is the reason that goal was reached.  Now, I look forward to many more accomplishments.<>
Love, Antonio of days gone by<>

    P.S.  I reached my goal of independence!<>
