  • After winning a Golden Globe award for Best TV Comedy Series earlier this month, HBO's Girls has been renewed for a third season.
Creator and star Lena Dunham (who also won a Globe for the show, for Best Actress in a Comedy) confirmed the news on Alec Baldwin's Here's the Thing podcast this week, saying that the show would begin work on Season 3 in March.
If her interview with Baldwin is any indication, the show will feature some exciting guest stars in its upcoming season.
