Ronald D. (Ronnie) Hines, 68, Fayette, formerly of Brookfield, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Rhodes Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parklawn Cemetery.

Ronald Delane Hines was born September 29, 1944, in Browning, Missouri, the son of T.J. and Alice (Forbes) Hines.
He was a lifelong resident of Brookfield until moving in 2005 to Fayette. While living in Brookfield, he worked at Brown Shoe Company and the City of Brookfield where he was Chief Water Plant Operator for over 30 years. He also worked in the same in the same capacity for Fayette, Glasgow, and Arstrong, and at PSF in Milan. He was one of the founding members of the Country 5 band. On September 27, 1986, he was united in marriage to Veronica A. "Ronnie" McAtee in Glasgow. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Fayette, Missouri, Water and Waste Water Conference, and the American Bowling Association. Ronnie enjoyed bowling, riding horses, hunting and playing music, especially the guitar and saxophone. He truly enjoyed mowing his yard and could easily spend all day on his mower.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Ronnie, Fayette; children, Shawn and wife, Shannon Johnson, Fayette, Sherri and husband, Derek Sturguess, Brookfield, Robin Dysart, Brookfield, Heather Hines, Glasgow, Brandy Hines, Glasgow, Michael and wife, Michelle Sumerlin, Fayette, and Ronda Dysart, Bucklin; his grandchildren, Savanna Watson, Devin Colyer, Audrey Johnson, Brittany and husband, Junior Wilson, Samantha Stodtman, Haleigh Strodtman, Alicia Dysart, Chana Sumerlin and Craig Sumerlin, his great-grandchildren, Jaxtyn Delane Johnson, Aubrey and Alexander Wilson, Madeline, Tabbitha, Christian, Zach and harley; a sister-in-law, Linda Hines; one aunt, Pearl Olinger; a niece, Lori Clubb; and two nephews, Jason Grindstaff and David Hines.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rev. Billy Hines; several aunts, uncles, and other relatives; and his former wife, Bernita Pipes Hines.
