Charlie Sheen has a message for former LAPD officer and accused murderer Christopher Dorner: Call me.
Police say Dorner, a former LAPD officer who was fired from the force, went on a shooting spree in which he killed three people including a police officer last week. He has been the target of a manhunt across Southern California since Feb. 7. Before the shootings occurred, he posted a "manifesto" on his Facebook page, in which he addressed several celebrities, including Ellen DeGeneres, Christoph Waltz, Larry David and Sheen, TMZ reports. "Charlie Sheen, you're effin' awesome," Dorner wrote.
Now, TMZ reports, Sheen has responded with a video message of his own.
"You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words," Sheen says. "I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing."
Dorner also reportedly sent Anderson Cooper a package containing items including a souvenir bullet-riddled coin, a DVD and a note that reads in part, "I never lied."
Other celebrities including Lisa Lampanelli have encouraged Dorner to surrender, according to TMZ.
