Glenda Marie Ervie, 62, Marceline, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. today, Feb. 25, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Brian Baker officiating. Visitation was held Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin. Pallbearers were Chris Stallo, Eric Stallo, Kevin Stallo, Eugene Ervie, Joe Ervie, and Jeremy Ervie.
Memorials may be made to Saving Every Victim or to the AWANA’s of Marceline First Baptist Church and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
Glenda was born October 29, 1950, in Brookfield, daughter of James and Vonetta Lee (Walters) Franklin. The married Charles Ervie on May 24, 1975 and he survives her.
Glenda had worked at Herff Jones for 10 years and then for Serve Link for eight years. She was a member of the Marceline First Baptist Church and a Marceline resident all her life.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Ervie, of the home in Marcelin; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lisa Foster, Linwood, Kan.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cassie and Junior Fitzpatrick, St. Joseph, and Amy and Gary Sportsman, Marceline; brother, Larry Franklin, El Paso, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Leroy Stallo, and Shirley and Charles Stallo, all of Marceline; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Gary Ervie and Melodie, Marceline; and John and Patty Ervie, Rayville; three grandchildren, Quintin Foster and Ava and Ella Sportsman; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
