Kay Friesner, 69, Meadville, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Meadville United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Casady officiating.

Harold Kay was born November 8, 1943, in Chillicothe. On May 23, 1969, he married Etsuko Funahara.
Kay received his Bachelor’s Degree at Westminster College, Fulton, and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He had been manager of the grain elevator in Cedar City, Wheeling, and Mendon, and was a bus driver for Meadville R-IV School District for many years. He also owned and operated his own greenhouse and drove a truck for M&S Trucking, Meadville. He was a member of Meadville United Methodist Church and Meadville Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Etsuko, of the home; three children, Kristy and husband, Roe Timmons, Stilwell, Kan., Jack Friesner, St. Louis, and Amy and husband, Kyle Elliott, Kansas City; one brother and sister-in-law, Dee and Jeannine Friesner, Meadville; five grandchildren, Seth and Christopher Timmons, Stilwell, Kan., and Nathan, Nicolas and Morgan Elliott, Kansas City; and one uncle and his wife, Jerry and Chris Friesner, Cullowhee, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
