  •  Justin Wayne Adams, 31, of Kansas City, Missouri, died February 22, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred just west of Wichita, Kansas.  He was born September 22, 1981 in Kansas City, the son of John S. and Mary Carol (Amen) Adams. He graduated from Lee’s Summit High School and attended Penn Valley Community College where he studied art and photography.
Justin was a creative and artistic soul, with a passion for traveling, visiting Italy several times as well as most of the 50 states, often with his beloved Siberian Huskies, Kade and Athena. Justin had a passion for art and sold his photographs at festivals around the country. In keeping with Justin’s loving and generous spirit, he gave in death, as an organ donor, as he did in life.
Justin is survived by his mother, Mary Carol (Amen) Adams, of San Diego, California; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and David Richardson, of Coronado, California; Uncle and Aunt, Chuck and Gracie Amen, of St. Joseph, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Jo Amen, of Brookfield, Missouri; maternal great grandmother, Ruby Simpson, of Brookfield, Missouri; a great-great aunt, Nellie Gardner, of Brookfield, Missouri and several cousins.
He was preceded in death in 2009 by his father, John S Adams, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and will be interned with him.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at The North Swede Church located nine miles north of Bucklin, Missouri on Hwy 129. Parking at the church is extremely limited due to the snow and soft ground. Therefore, anyone planning to attend the service is asked to please park at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located on Hwy U about two miles west of Hwy 129 where you will be shuttled to the service in their church bus. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Swedish Evangelical Cemetery Association. Donations may be sent to David Hane, 250 High St., Brookfield, MO 64628.
