Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer Byron F. Batye, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron O. Batye, rural Marceline, will be helping enforce the 200 mile fishery conservation zone which went into effect March 1. He is serving as a crew member aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Midgett, homeport Alameda, Calif. Batye joined the Coast Guard in July 1958.
