John Kitchen, 56, Bucklin, died today, March 18, 2013, at his home.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today, March 20, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home, Bucklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Howe, John Pennington, Larry Brammer, Chris Schomaker, Richard Schomaker, and Justin Pennington.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 41 Locust, Bucklin, MO 64631.
John was born September 25, 1956, in Kansas City, son of Waverly Clarence and Norma Ruth (Stout) Kitchen.
John was a tree trimmer and truck driver. He was active in the pool league and attended the Assembly of God Church, Bucklin.
Survivors include two sons, Tracey John Kitchen, Kirksville, and Mark Anthony Kitchen, Bucklin; a daughter, Susan Latrace Akins, New Cambria; two brothers, Wayne C. Kitchen, New Cambria, and Michael Lee Kitchen, Bucklin; and two sisters, Mary Pennington, Clifton Hill, and Darlene Howe, Brookfield; three grandchildren, Hailey, Mark Jr., and Memphis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David Kitchen.
