Emily Jackson, 23, Columbia, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, with Rev. David Sallee officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the funeral home with the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 that evening. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Brookfield.

Emily Kristin was born February 20, 1990, in Jefferson City, daughter of Keith and LaDonna (Hirter) Jackson.
Emily was a 2008 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was currently a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia and would have graduated in May of 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree. She was a student manager of Rollins Dining Hall on the campus.
Survivors include her parents, Keith and LaDonna Jackson, Linneus; one brother, Jonathan Carl “J.C.” Jackson, Linneus; her grandparents, Kathleen Hirter, Savannah, and James D. and Willadean Jackson, Jefferson City; her boy friend, Kevin Gross, Columbia; uncles and aunts, Loren and Elaine Hirter, Savannah, James M. and Carol Jackson, West Chester, Ohio, and Jill and Mike Brittingham, Macon; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Carl and Emma Dick, James C. “J.C.” and Dorothy Jackson, and Geneva Smith.
