ST. JOSEPH - The road closure previously scheduled for Route 129 in Linn County for tomorrow, April 11, has been rescheduled due to weather, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation. Route 129 will now be closed Friday, April 12. Local maintenance crews will close Route 129 from two miles north of U.S. Hwy 36 to three miles north of U.S. Hwy 36 for a culvert replacement. The closure will begin at 8 a.m. and the road should reopen by 3 p.m. Motorists will need to plan an alternate route.
All work is weather permitting. MoDOT apologizes for any inconvenience that this necessary closure may cause. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up and drive safely through work zones to ensure everyone can Arrive Alive.
