David L. Madden, age 70, Trenton, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at North Care Hospice House North Kansas City.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church of Trenton.
Memorials may be made to the North Care Hospice House or Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home, 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Mo. 64658.
David was born August 24, 1042, in Leon, Iowa, son of Cecil and Doris (Cleghorn) Madden. He married Kathryn Marie Ball on August 25, 1962.
David was a self-employed auto body repairman. In September of 1969, he was ordained into the ministry. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church and attended Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church of Trenton.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn (Kathy) Madden, of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Keith (Casey) Madden, and Andrew and Amy Madden, all of Trenton; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and John Brink, Bucklin; three sisters, Della Stowe, Kansas City, and Janice Boswell and Jeri Madden, both of Independence; two grandchildren, Acacia Shoenfelter, Rochester, Minn., and Oakley Madden, Trenton; and many, many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
