Wayne D. Clements, 91, Brookfield, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Life Care Center of Brookfield.
There are no scheduled funeral arrangements. Private burial will be held at a later date.

Wayne D. was born October 29, 1921, in Brookfield, son of Raymond L. and Virginia I. (Riley) Clements. On July 10, 1944, he was married to Selma Marie Vermillion in Tallahassee, Fla. She preceded him in death on May 13, 1993.
He was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army serving in World War II and the Korean War. He also served in several other branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. He joined Park Baptist Church in 1930. He was a past City Council Member, a third generation owner/operator of Clements Grocery Store, and worked for the Brookfield R-3 School District.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Kathy Clements, Mulberry, Fla.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Munson, Huntsville, and Nancy and Rick Salisbury, Brookfield; three grandchildren, Brian and wife, Stephanie Clements, Gardner, Kan., Mark and wife, Lois Munson, Antioch, Tenn., and Mathew Munson, Kansas City; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Hudson Clements, Gardner, Kan.; and one cousin, Judge G.L. and wife, Barbara Crystal, Kansas City.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and a son-in-law, Jim Munson.
