  • Donald Molloy, 78, Bucklin, died Sunday, April 21, 201 at his home.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Brian Baker officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 at the funeral home in Marceline. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, April 24, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Brian Baker officiating. Visitation was held from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin. Pallbearers will be Kim Molloy, Paul Dowell, Stanley Lauzoway, Jeremy Molloy, Bryan Switzer and  Jim Thompson.
    Memorials to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
    Donald was born March 22, 1935, in Bucklin, son of Otha “Doc” and Emma (Dowell) Molloy. He married Myrna Sue Gillespie on June 10, 1956, in Brookfield.
    Donald had worked at Remington Manufacturing, Lexington. He was a graduate of the 1953 class of Bucklin High School, was a member of the Steel Workers Union and AFLCIO, and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Bucklin. He had moved back to Bucklin in 2000.
    Survivors include his wife, Myrna, of the home in Bucklin, two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Beverly Molloy, Las Vegas, NV; Gregory and Elsy Molloy, Garden City, KS; daughter, Pamela Molloy, Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, Kristen Molloy, Matthew Molloy, both of Las Vegas, NV, Ashley and Eric Morgan, Blue Springs, Celeena Molloy, Las Vegas, NV, and Austin, Aaron, and Alyssa Molloy, Garden City, KS; and three great-grandchildren, Jade Teichman, Lexington, and Madysyn and Kyler Jo Morgan, both of Blue Springs.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Harold Molloy; and sister Gertrude Wax.
