Karen Robison 52, Lee’s Summit, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Village Hospice House.
Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, at Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield. Burial will be in Parklawn Cemetery, Brookfield.

Karen was born July 2, 1960, at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield, daughter of Carolyn and Nelson Tripp, Sumner. She married Rob Robison.
When she was age five the family moved to Lee’s Summit. She graduated from Lee’s Summit High School and attended the United Methodist Church. She and her husband moved to Brookfield. She worked at Stanbury Uniform for several years. Then she moved back to Lee’s Summit, where she was employed at Wal Mart.
Survivors include her husband Rob Robison, Sumner; mother, Carolyn Tripp, Lee’s Summit her son, Jeremy Tripp, Lee’s Summit; a daughter, Sonsara Tripp and TJ Singleton; grandchildren, Taelour Tripp, David Norval, Xavier and Jeffery Singleton; sisters, Brenda Conaway, Bucklin, and Sandra Bushery, Greendale, Wisc.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nelson Tripp; a brother Kenny Tripp; grandparents, Myra and Walter DeWeese and Ival and Jay Tripp; a nephew Troy Ross; and a brother-in-law Terry Conaway.
