Chester Ray Stadium served as the host venue on Monday for the annual Lewis and Clark Conference Relays. The events started at 2 p.m. on an absolutely wonderful afternoon for a track meet. At the events, the Tigers took first with 125 points, and the Lady Tigers took second with 135 points.
In boys individual placers: Dakota Lewis took fourth in the 100m (12.23) , third in the 200m (25.17 and second in the 400m (54.80). In the 800m, Austin Moudy took first (2:09.07), Jared Best took fifth (2:29.61) and Dalton Fisher took eighth (2:38.45).
In the 1600m, Moudy took first (5:08.59), Fisher took fifth (5:44.05) and Nathan Moore took seventh (6:05.68). In the 3200m, Jordan Sayre took third (12:48.55), Moore took fourth (13:42.02) and Scott Anders took fifth (13:44.17).
In the 100m hurdles, Brennen Floray took first (15.87) and Daniel Corbin took sixth (21.81). In the 300m hurdles, Floray took fourth (44.86) and Corbin took eighth (53.67).
In girls individual placers: Morgan McCormick took second in the 100m (13.32), first in the 100m hurdles (16.86), first in the 300m hurdles (47.99), and first in the pole vault (7’ 6”). Molly Shoop took second in the 200m (27.67), second in the long jump (15’ 10”) and first in the triple jump (33’ 4.25”).
In the 400m, Kendra Gladbach took first (1:03.39) and Claire Dorrell took fourth (1:07.72). In the 800m, Dorrell took third (2:39.45) and Gladbach took fifth (2:48.78). Haili Teeter took fifth (16:28.36) and Katelyn Thompson took eighth (8:33.43) in the 3200m. Teeter took sixth in the 1600m (6:51.24).
