Anita K. Strange, 86, Gallatin, formerly of Brookfield, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Daviess County Nursing Rehab Center, Gallatin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, with Rev. Russ Hamilton officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Linneus.

Anita Kathryn was born December 1, 1926, in Linneus, daughter of Edward Silas and Ethel Mae (Warren) Hale. On January 30, 1946, she married Ora W. Strange. He preceded her in death September 15, 1992.
Anita was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl Rogers, Independence, and Gloria and Daryl Swalley, Jamesport; five grandchildren, Alicia and husband, Russell Niccum, Cole Camp, Christy Rogers, Kansas City, Duane Swalley, Jamesport, Dana Swalley, Independence, and Dean and wife, DeAnne Swalley, Gallatin; six great-grandchildren, Jesse and Emily Niccum, Cole Camp, Taylor Swalley, Jamesport, Dalton and Daycee Swalley, Gallatin, and Harley Vassholz, Independence; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Della Hale, Purdin; and one niece, Karen Clark, Adrian.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Charles Rogers; and a great-grandson, Drew Lee Wilson.
