  • Kimberly Rae Shoemaker, 50, Marceline, formerly of Brookfield, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at University Hospital, Columbia.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home, Bucklin, with Rev. Tim Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the funeral home in Bucklin. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Brookfield.  
    Memorials may be made to the family and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home, 41 Locust Bucklin, Mo. 64631.
    Kimberly was born  September 7, 1962 , in Burlington, Iowa, daughter of Dwight and Beverly (Bennett) Greiner.  
    Kimberly was baptized as a child at Grace Baptist Church, Brookfield, and had attended at the Bucklin Christian Church. She had owned and operated Kimberly’s restaurant, Brookfield, and worked at Pershing Memorial Hospital as a certified nurse’s aide.
    Survivors include her parents, Dwight and Beverly Greiner, Brookfield; two sons, John Shoemaker Jr., Bucklin, and Brock Wine, Marceline;, one daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Carl Herington, Bucklin; four sisters, Brenda Lynn, Gladstone, Karen and Ken Kozanecki, Wisconsin, Kelly and Randy Olinger, Brookfield, and Stacey Roberts, Sedalia; and three grandchildren, Haley and Abigail Herington, and John Andy Shoemaker, III (Trey); and 10 nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ethel and Noel Bennett, paternal grandparents, Neva Allen and Charles Greiner, a sister Jodie Lynn Greiner, and niece Carissa Applegate Vansel.
