Nola Beth Formento, 77, Macon, formerly of Brookfield and Marceline, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
Visitation will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the St. Charles Cemetery, Bevier, may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Mo. 64658.
Nola was born October 18, 1935, Marceline, daughter of William Franklin and Iona Virginia (Parsons) Still. She married Frank Formento, Jr.
She had worked at Toastmaster and for Formento Trucking, was a member of First Baptist Church, Marceline, and had been a Macon resident since 1988.
Survivors include her husband, Frank, of the home in Macon; daughter Caterina Formento, Topeka, Kan.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Formento, Macon; step-sister, Mary Martha Littrell, Brookfield; three grandchildren, Abra Dell and Cory Wheeler, Holton, Kan., Brandon Formento and Brittany, Macon, and Franchesca Formento, Blue Springs; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Formento, Macon, and Emma Wheeler, Holton, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Farrell Formento on October 3, 2012; sisters, Theda Hughes, Carmen Nielson, Norma Jean Still, and Martha Skinner; and brothers, Joe, Don, Russell and William.
