  • Stillwell Signs With Valley

  • A Linn County R-1 standout will play college basketball.

  • Linn County R-1 graduate Ty Colton Stillwell has signed a letter-of-intent to play men’s basketball for Missouri Valley College beginning with the 2013-2014 basketball season.  
    Stillwell is a native of Browning, Mo. and was a three-sport athlete in high school.  He was a member of the boy’s basketball, boy’s track, and baseball teams.  Off the playing field Stillwell was active in FCA, FFA, FTA, and the National Honor Society
     “Ty is a great student and athlete, and everyone in the program is excited about him joining the team,” said MVC Head Men’s Basketball Coach Chad Lance. “We know that Ty will be a key player for our team going forward.”
    The MVC men’s basketball team is coached by Chad Lance who tied the program’s all-time win mark during the 2012-2013 basketball season.
    Stillwell plans to major in education and mathematics at Missouri Valley College and is the son of Trevor and Crystal Stillwell.
