  • Maxine S. Stallman, age 97, of Marceline died Friday, June 21, 2013 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center, Marceline.

  • Maxine S. Stallman, age 97, of Marceline died Friday, June 21, 2013 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center, Marceline.  Maxine was born at Marceline, Missouri on May 6, 1916 to Joseph and Sallie (Faudree) Dorrell.  She married O.M. Kothe and he preceded her in death, then later married Lawrence Gladbach, who preceded her in death, and then Edward Stallman who also preceded her in death.  
    Maxine had worked at Walsworth Publishing Company, was active in Line Dancing years ago, and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
    She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie S. Gladbach, Marceline, and Sharon Love, Sedalia; three grandchildren, Shane Moore, Libby King, and Linda Smith, two step grandchildren, Patty Logan and Gary Gladbach, ten great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, all three husbands, three brothers, and three sisters.  
    Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline with Fr. Jerry Kaimann officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline.  Pallbearers will be Jason Moore, Chance Moore, Jon Duey, Gary Gladbach, Michael King, and Sean King.  Memorials may be made to Marceline Nutrition Center and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
