  • Beverly Jacobs, 78, Brookfield, died peacefully surrounded by family Friday, July 19, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Bob Wells officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Rhodes Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 that evening. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Cemetery.
    Memorials to Peska Cancer Fund or Brookfield Senior Center may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 216 Linn St., Brookfield, Mo. 64628. Online condolences may be left at www.rhodesfh.com.
    Beverly Jane was born October 10, 19343, in St. Joseph, daughter of Everett and Stella (Hahn) Hannah. She was the youngest of 12 children.
    She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and retired from Stanbury Uniforms. In her retirement she was very active. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards. She was treasurer of OATS, member of VFW Auxiliary, and delivered Meals on Wheels. She once went to Guyana to help build a church as part of a missionary group.
    Survivors include four daughters, Diane and husband, Jerry Renshaw, Leesa Loucks, Linda and husband, Tony Holland, and Lois and husband, Stephen Herington; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clelland Hannah and Cleve and wife, Beverly Hannah; loving niece, Sandra and husband, James Kingsolver, and Carol Joyce Payne; and many other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jacobs; son, Othal Aaron Schreckhise, Sr.; son-in-law, Randy Joe Munsterman; great-grandchildren, Kyle Renshaw and Ashlyee May Westhoff; two nephews, Jerry Simmons and Randy Kingsolver; five brothers, Cecil, Clarence, Claude, Carl and Clinton Hannah; and four sisters, Thelma Roskoski, June Simmons, Lois Scott and Evelyn Cox.
