William Earl Wayne Coons, 44, lost his life August 8, 2013 in an auto accident.
A graveside service will be held at Hebron Cemetary at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013 with the Rev. Eddie Birdsong, a cousin, officiating. Hebron is located approximately 2.5 miles north  of I-70 on Missouri Highway O.  Pallbearers are Leonard Birdsong, James Replogle, Ben Beal, Eric Sweezor, Joe Richards and Billy Birdsong. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the home of his Aunt Lynn Sweezor in Moberly.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in support of his daughter’s college education. A fund has been established in her name, Morgan Coons, at US Bank, Kansas City. Arrangements are under the direction of Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
He was born  October 2, 1968, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, son of the late Gary Wayne Coons and Mrs. Vivian (Birdsong) Tyler and Mr. Mikel Tyler.
He was residing in Meta, with his wife, Wanda Coons, who also lost her life in the accident along with one of their grandchildren, Shadrach Birdsong Rowden. He grew up in Brookfield.
Survivors include his mother, Vivian Tyler, his step-fathers, Mikel Tyler and Clarence Replogle; his daughter, Morgan Coons; his sisters, Helen Renee (Sheridan) Sechter, Kansas City, Sherri Lee Ann Richardson, Post Falls, ID, and Pensa Michelle Leonard, Oregon, Mo; step-brothers, David Replogle, Philip Replogle and James Replogle; uncles, Richard Birdsong and Leonard Birdsong; aunts, Lynn Sweezor and Penny Skidmore; niecesm Shoshana Clark and Tawni Dillon; nephews Bryan Dillon, Kurt Dillon, Oakley Rudd, and Dalton Rudd; and many, many cousins.
He was preceded by his father, Gary Wayne Coons; his grandparents, Lee and Pensa Birdsong and William and Jessie Coons and also his uncle, Gary Birdsong.
