WWE wrestler Darren Young came out as gay during a TMZ interview, becoming the first WWE wrestler ever to do so. The TMZ reporter asked Young if a gay wrestler could succeed in the WWE, and Young responded, "Absolutely. Look at me. I'm a WWE superstar, and to be honest with you, I'll tell you right now — I'm gay. And I'm happy. I'm very happy." Young’s announcement comes months after Jason Collins became the first openly gay NBA player.
The big movies opening today are “Kick-Ass 2,” an R action comedy starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Jim Carrey; “Lee Daniels' The Butler,” a PG-13 biopic about a White House butler starring Forest Whitaker; “Paranoia,” a PG-13 thriller starring Amber Heard, Liam Hemsworth, Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman; and “Jobs,” a PG-13 biopic about Steve Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher.
The Dow Jones opened at 15,112.19 after falling 225.47 points Thursday.
