Darline M. Briggs, 74, Bucklin, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Bucklin Christian Church with Rev. Tim Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be held begin at 9 a.m. Saturday with the family receiving friends from 10 a.m. until service time.

Darline May was born May 1, 1939, in Kirksville, daughter of Gerald R. and Nellie E. (Watson) Hill.
She was a graduate of Bucklin High School and lived in the Bucklin and New Boston areas most of her life. She had been a member of Bucklin Christian Church for many years and served in many areas of the church.
Survivors include her children, Tracy and wife, Myra Briggs, Liberty, Trent Briggs, Bucklin, and Trella and husband, Frank Hayden, Chillicothe; her mother, Nellie Hill, Bucklin; one sister, Eva Levell, Marceline; one brother, Robert Hill, Nixa; step-children, Randy and Beth Jury, Blue Springs, Sandy and Ian Gaunt, Spruce Grove, Alberta Canada, Rebekah and Barr Parks, and Tim Jury, Blue Springs, Matthew and Kim Jury, Louisburg, Kan., and Sarah and Eric Robinson, Madison, Wisc.; grandchildren, Tobias Briggs, New Cambria, Nathan Briggs, Blue Springs, Jardin and Jacqueline Fuller, Memphis, Amanda Hoffman, St. Peters, and Trevor Briggs, Liberty; 14 step-grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three infant sisters; one older sister, Geraldine “Jerry” Roberts; her father, Gerald Hill; one brother, Reavis Hill; and husbands, L.T. Briggs and Robert Jury.
