Edith Curley, 96, Linneus, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at McLarney Manor, Brookfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, with Rev. Sue Lambert and Rev. Richard Casady officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at the funeral home with the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 that evening. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede.

Edith Esther, was born November 17, 1916, in King City, daughter of John and Elsie (Smith) Taff. On November 13, 1937, she married James Kenneth Curley. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1990.
Edith was a homemaker. She was a member of the Laclede United Methodist Church and participated in the United Methodist Women’s Organization.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Marilyn Curley, Purdin, Jerry and Shirley Curley, Olathe, Kan., and Ed and Linda Curley, Brookfield; one daughter, Shirley Kitchen, Holden; nine grandchildren, Doug and wife, P.J. Curley, Trenton, Cyndi and husband, Robert Clark, Purdin, Cathy Casebolt, Linneus, Denise and husband, David Riepley, Marshall, Chris Curley, Trenton, Jason Kitchen, Washington, Delight and husband, Mark Thomason, Holden, Dustin Kitchen, Marceline, and Mike and wife, Melissa Curley, Olathe, Kan.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her parents and nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
