Glover E. McCauslin, 98, Marceline died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Brian Baker officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today, October 23, 2013, at the funeral home in Marceline. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Marceline. Pallbearers will be Chris Pearman, Reed Flaherty, Scott Ewigman, Blaine McCauslin, Braylin McCauslin, Clifford Elkins, and Clay Meyer.

Glover was born March 14, 1915, in Marceline, son of John Calvin and Edna (Glover) McCauslin. He married Violet Lucille Casey on January 1, 1934.
Glover was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was a farmer and had worked in construction and as a carpenter. He was a member of Marceline First Baptist Church and a Marceline resident all his life.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille, of the home in Marceline; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Diane McCauslin, Marceline, and Charles and Doris McCauslin, Overland Park, KS; one half-sister, Betty Moser, Louisville, KY; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Herbert McCauslin and sister Naomi West.
