  • Monday night, the Marceline High School basketball teams were back in action at Tiger Fieldhouse with a pair of Lewis and Clark Conference games against Fayette. Marceline won both games on this occasion, following up their tournament, held last week.

  •  Monday night, the Marceline High School basketball teams were back in action at Tiger Fieldhouse with a pair of Lewis and Clark Conference games against Fayette.  Marceline won both games on this occasion, following up their tournament, held last week.
    The Lady Tigers won the opening varsity game 75-40.  Tori Davis had two points, one board and two assists.  Abbie Peiffer had four points, two boards, seven assists and two steals.  Molly Shoop had nine points, one board, seven assists and four steals.  Sydnee Brooks had 17 points, one board, one assist and four steals.  Natalie Allen had two points, four boards and a steal.  Morgan McCormick had 28 points, 15 boards, three assists and six steals.  Jacee Brooks had nine points and one steal.  Elaine Ewigman had two points, six boards and two steals.  Haili Teeter had two points, six boards and three steals.
    The Tigers ended the night with a win as well, rebounding from the loss in their last game.  Marceline topped Fayette 70-38.  Bryce Jobson had two points, an assist and a steal.  Frankie Herring had 15 points, six boards and a steal.  Cory Hilsabeck had an assist.  Dan Corbin had 11 points, 12 boards and five assists.  Luke Smith had one point and one board.  Daniel Haas had 11 points, two assists and a steal.  Shane Weimer had four points, one board, one assist and one steal.  Isaac Smith had one board.  Jared Best had three assists and one steal.  Makenzie Fessler had 14 points, 11 boards, three assists and a steal.  Blake Linebaugh had 12 points, five boards, 11 assists and seven steals.
