Mary Margaret (Stark) Kirk, 82, Eldon, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at Miller County Care Center, Tuscumbia.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Eldon United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve George officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, Jan. 22, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

She was born March 23, 1931, in Linn County, daughter of the late Jay K. and Minnie Irene (McCune) Stark. On June 13, 1949, in Springfield, she was united in marriage to Dr. Norbert Lane Kirk.
Mary graduated in 1948 from Brookfield High School. She was a member of the Eldon United Methodist Church and the Eldon United Methodist Women of Eldon. President of the Eldon PTA for two years, Girl Scout Troop 81 Leader for six years, Easter Seals Chairman for 10 years, the Eldon Golf Club Ladies Golf Association, Ladies Golf Chairman, Intercity Golf Team, Lodge of Four Seasons Ladies Golf Association, Winterset Dance Club-Charter Member and the Capital Ritz Dance Club.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Donn Henley, and Barbara and Bill Stark, Eldon; grandchildren, Justin Stark, Kirk Henley, Margaret Reindl and Conor Henley; six great-grandchildren; siblings, James T. Stark, Kansas City, Evelyn Thomas, Gibbs, and Linda C. Stark, Shiloh, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by six siblings.
