  • Local Man Arrested at School

  • On March 27, 2014, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Macon County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 59 year old Rick L. Ratliff of Brookfield, Missouri for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The arrest was a result of a suspicious vehicle reported to be parked at the Macon R-4 School located in New Cambria, Missouri.

  • On March 27, 2014, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Macon County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 59 year old Rick L. Ratliff of Brookfield, Missouri for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  The arrest was a result of a suspicious vehicle reported to be parked at the Macon R-4 School located in New Cambria, Missouri.  
    Deputies responded to the area and located the suspicious vehicle in the school parking lot.  During their investigation, Deputies identified the occupant of the suspicious vehicle as Rick L. Ratliff of Brookfield.  While Deputies were in contact with Ratliff, he allegedly attempted to discard a small bag of suspected methamphetamine.   Deputies arrested Ratliff and also found him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Ratliff was arrested and transported to the Macon County Jail without incident.  Ratliff is being held pending the issuance of a warrant.
