  • Linda Kaye Neer, 73, Naples, Fla., died January 10, 2014, at Avow Hospice, Naples.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookfield.
    Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, PO Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.
    Linda Kaye, was born August 13, 1940, in Siloam Springs, Ark., daughter of Emery and Alice Daniels. On September 11, 1960, she married Don L. Neer.
    Linda was a graduate of North Kansas City High School. She attended Culver Stockton College, Canton, and the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She spent her time volunteering for several community and civic organizations. She had served as PTA President, President of Women’s Junior League, President of the Holly Club, and President of St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary in Joliet, Ill. After her daughters left for college she worked as an administrative assistant for the Dallas Cowboys and had worked for United Healthcare. She was a member of the Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church in Naples, Fla.
    Survivors include her husband, Don, Naples, Fla.; two daughters, J. Christine Feeley and Loree L. Hendry; three grandchildren, Tyler Hendry and Kathleen and Ryan Feeley; her mother, Alice Daniels; one brother, William Daniels and wife, Bonnie; an aunt, Donna Nelson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives.
    Her father, Emery Daniels, preceded her in death.
