    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Browning United Methodist Church, Browning, with Rev. Sue Lambert officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be in Locust Valley Cemetery, west of Browning.
    The family has suggested memorial contributions be given to Browning United Methodist Church or Compassionate Care Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruschmeier Funeral Home.
    The son of Byron L. and Irene (Thomas) Grime, he was born November 24, 1938, in Meadville. He married Linda Hooker in June 1959 and to this union were born to children, Jon M. and Kristen M. Grime.
    He was a 1956 graduate of Meadville High School, moving to Browning in 1964, where he was a salesman for Hooker Chevrolet, later becoming a dealer. In 1991, he went to work at Briggs-Cupp Chevrolet, Marceline, until his retirement. He was a past mayor and board member of the City of Browning and a member of the United Methodist Church.
    Mr. Grime is survived by his daughter, Kristen, and two grandchildren, Riley and Bailey, Blue Springs; a brother, Donald, Omaha, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jon M.; a grandson, Jon M.; and a sister, Betty Jean.
