  • Pauline Murrain Dudley, 95, Purdin, died Monday, July 21, 2014, at Life Care Center in Brookfield.
    Funeral services will be Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Sue Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Purdin Cemetery, Purdin. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time for the service; the family will also receive friends at the Purdin Community Center following the burial.
    Memorials to Purdin Cemetery or Linneus United Methodist Church may be left at or mailed to Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, PO Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.
    Myrtle Pauline, daughter of Lafe and Myrtle (Greenstreet) Turner, was born October 11, 1918, in Goldsberry. On October 12, 1936, she married Standly Murrain who preceded her in death July 27, 1965, and on June 6, 1970, she married Jess Dudley who preceded her in death August 7, 1991.
    Pauline had worked at Murrain Produce in Purdin and Stanbury Uniform in Brookfield.
    She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Linneus.
    Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Barrow of Purdin and Phyllis Psencik of Eagle Lake, Texas; five grandchildren, Phillip Barrow, Robert Barrow, Cary Barrow, Tamra Black, and Jeffery Psencik; 11 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren; one stepson, Kenneth Dudley and wife, Carolyn of Meadville and one stepdaughter, Donna Roberts of Chillicothe; and five step grandchildren.
    Her parents; one sister, Kathleen; and four brothers, Roscoe, Albert, Meade, and Gordon also preceded her in death.
